What is the definition of Schizoaffective Disorder?
Schizoaffective disorder is a mental illness which affects 1 in every 100 people. Sufferers experience disordered thoughts (psychosis) and abnormal emotions. It has aspects of both schizophrenia and serious mood symptoms such as bipolar. Delusions and hallucinations are common, and the disorder is thought to be on the spectrum between schizophrenia and bipolar (as it has aspects of both).
